Cubs Win World Series

After 108 years of cursed World Series(largely universal to say it’s not actually the world)-the Chicago Cubs have ended the longest title drought in history in style.

The last win came in 1908 beating Detroit 4-1 which seemed to be a continuation until rain delayed play only to develop into a ten innings working in the Cubs favour coming to an 8-7 win over the Cleveland Indians.

The curse was allegedly placed on the Cubs in 1945 by a local bar owner Billy Sianis which fans have been delighted to have been lifted stating “There’s no curse now, the goat is history.”   As well as President Obama, despite being a rival White Sox fan, exclaimed:

“Cubs win is the greatest thing since sliced bread.”
